Buzzytown Vendor Terms & Privacy Policy

1. Platform Role

Buzzytown is a discovery platform and intermediary. It does not provide services, control outcomes, or participate in transactions between vendors and residents.

2. Vendor Selection & Listing

Listing is not guaranteed. Vendors are evaluated based on internal criteria including relevance, references, and platform fit.

Buzzytown reserves absolute discretion to accept, reject, suspend, or remove vendors at any time.

If a fee is paid and vendor is not selected, it will be refunded within 15 working days. Contact Buzzytown.in@gmail.com for reminders incase there is anything pending. 

3. No Guarantee of Business or Visibility

Buzzytown does not guarantee sales leads, customer acquisition, visibility, ranking, or business outcomes. 

4. Scope of Services

Buzzytown provides listing, discovery, and connection services only.

Content creation, advertising, or promotional services are separate offerings and are not included automatically upon onboarding.

5. Data Collection & Consent

By consenting, you authorize Buzzytown to collect, store, process, and display your data for listing, communication, and reviews.

6. Purpose Limitation

Your data is used only for discovery, communication, reviews, analytics, and platform improvement. 

7. AI & Platform Improvement

Your data may be used to train algorithms, improve recommendations, and enhance platform performance.

8. WhatsApp & Contact Sharing

Your contact details may be shared with residents. Buzzytown is not responsible for misuse, spam, or third-party interactions.

9. Vendor-to-Vendor Sharing

Buzzytown may connect vendors with each other only after obtaining explicit consent.

10. Inventory & Bookings

Buzzytown may enable showcasing and booking features. However, it is not responsible for delivery, fulfilment, pricing, or quality of services.

11. Reviews & Opinions

Reviews represent personal opinions of users and may not reflect factual accuracy. Buzzytown does not verify or guarantee review correctness.

12. Review Disputes

Vendors may report reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or legally problematic.

Timeline: 3–5 working days acknowledgement, 7–15 working days decision.

Buzzytown acts in good faith moderation and is not obligated to adjudicate disputes or remove content solely based on disagreement or business impact.

13. Building Visit Data & Ranking

Buzzytown may analyse vendor activity across buildings using multiple sources including vendor inputs, user interactions, and lawful third-party data.

This data may be used to prioritise or rank vendors. Such insights are indicative and not guaranteed.

14. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors must provide accurate information, comply with laws, and not manipulate reviews or mislead users.

15. Data Rights

You may access, correct, delete your data or withdraw consent at any time. Email Buzzytown.in@gmail.com for the same. Response will come in 7-15 working days. 

16. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for platform operations or legal compliance.

17. Data Security

Reasonable safeguards are implemented, but no system is fully secure.

18. Consent Record

Buzzytown may store proof of consent including timestamp, device, and IP address for compliance.

Response: 5–8 working days | Resolution: 15–30 working days

20. Limitation of Liability

Buzzytown shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of business, reputation, or data.

Liability is limited to fees paid or zero for free listings.

21. No Warranty

All services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

22. Indemnity

Vendors agree to indemnify Buzzytown against claims arising from their services, actions, or misrepresentation.

23. Intermediary Status

Buzzytown operates as an intermediary and does not initiate or control transactions.

24. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law with jurisdiction in Mumbai.
